2026I start where the work actually breaks. Usually that is not the interface. It is a form field that exists because a mainframe needs it, or a step that survives because nobody has been allowed to delete it.
Regulated environments do not reward clever. They reward designers who can read a compliance constraint, sit with the people who do the work, and come back with something both legal and humane.
